Drawing on Wittgenstein’s later philosophy and his criticism of Solipsism as eminently nonsensical, my thesis examines whether Sass’ solipsistic interpretation of schizophrenia makes sense and whether any attempt, in general, to interpret schizophrenia can be conceived as meaningful.

Drawing on Wittgenstein’s later philosophy and particularly, on Ryle and Hacker’s analytic criticisms on the Cartesian heritage of the Mind-Body Problem, my thesis studies the conceptual plausibility of its causal account and the logical futility of conceiving the human being as a brain embedded in a body.

Drawing on the human ethology as a moral “technology”, my thesis advances an ethological reading of the triggers that enabled the Nazi regime and the Jewish Holocaust, with particular focus on examining the mismatch between biological vs cultural evolution.
